Multi-platinum US rapper G-Eazy has released the new single “Down” alongside Mulatto. The strong track is coming with on-point rap parts, Deuce Bigalow inspired visuals and exciting cameos.
G-Eazy continues to tease his much anticipated fifth studio album. His latest track showcases a different side of the well-known artist. Musically he returns to his hip-hop roots with an eclectic, hard beats. Furthermore he spotlights the rising female rapper Mulatto, who released her new EP Queen of Da Souf and had a cameo in the “WAP” music video most recently.
Her bossy attitude and her tight flows fit perfectly into this project. Fans have even created a moniker for the successful collaboration – G-LATTO! Together they perform in the cinematic music video which was directed by The Reel Goats.
In the visuals, G-Eazy plays a bellboy in a hotel á la Grand Budapest Hotel, who is also a Gigolo for the female hotel guests. The whole idea is inspired by the movie Deuce Bigalow with Rob Schneider, who also has a cameo here.
Moreover the official video is following a YouTube Red Carpet sponsored countdown, and fans are still able to vote in the live entertainment contest with a $25k cash prize going to the top 3 competitors.
