Soul-Pop Band The King’s Parade Releases New Single ‘Brother’ | Music News

London-based soul-pop band The King’s Parade has just unveiled their brand-new single “Brother”, announcing their future debut album.

The song is a lively pop-rock track, with an infectious groove and catchy melodies. It fuses an ethereal guitar riff and the singer’s soulful voice, that effortlessly blends with the song’s lyrics, that evoke feelings of vulnerability.

A music video is also in the works for the track, after the “Mario” video created during lockdown and lauded for its creativity.

Frontman Olly Corpe explains the inspiration behind the song: “Brother” is a track about feeling left behind. The sudden disappearance of someone you hold close to your heart can leave an emptiness that feels impossible to fill. The song is an expression of that void.”

Prior to this new project, the four-man band released five EPs and a handful of singles. Their most recent piece is the Mad EP, which encountered great success and was backed by a sold-out headline tour across Europe.

“Brother” is the third track to drop from their upcoming debut album, following first two singles “Mario” and “How Long”. The album is set to arrive this December, and was recorded by Marco Pasquiarello (worked with Coldplay and Snow Patrol) and produced by Guy Massey (worked with Ed Sheeran, The Libertines and Jack Savoretti).
