Irish singer-songwriter, Sarah O’Moore is back with a single full of questions titled “All in My Head“.
With here timeless, hot and powerful voice, Sarah O’Moore makes you feel dizzy. Taking inspiration from her Corkonian roots, she gives us a profoundly reflective and unusual voice.
While listening to Sarah’s single, the thoughts of hearing Amy Winehouse and Billie Holiday again crosses our mind. Sarah’s music is a baseline for the times as she holds a mirror to society’s sinking dark side, driven by her fusion of rich lyrics and original melodies.
Rock and folk legends like Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and Van Morrison raised the artist during her young years, and she also cultivated a big interest in soul icons such as Nina Simone, Otis Redding and Sam Cooke. Sarah’s dream chasing led her to Bristol where she is currently improving her songwriting skills at BIMM.
“All In My Head” mixes synth textures on a hip-hop backed beat supported by the raw vocals, while playing with the new word “gaslight”, which make you question you own reality.
According to Sarah, “The song is a means of overthinking and falling victim to doubt. How easy it is for others to sway you off track“.
O’Moore adds that “All In My Head” provokes reflectional thoughts, “built on questioning. The protagonist is a foreigner to themselves and eventually dissolves all inner power by accepting their wrong“.
2022 is promising to see her official debut EP social paralysis, which will serve as a testimony to James Joyce‘s Dubliner’s novel.
