Swedish Grammis-Nominated Singer Janice Releases New Single ‘My Kind of Woman’

Janice, the Swedish Grammis-nominated soul singer who recently returned to deliver her compelling single “Don’t Lay It All On Me”, has now released her much awaited new EP The Playlist, alongside the captivating new single “My Kind Of Woman”.

The new four-track EP, which appears in the new Netflix series The Playlist, a fictional series set around the origins of Spotify in which Janice also makes her acting debut, was written exclusively for the series, in which she plays one of the main characters Bobbie T, with three of the original works appearing in the show.

Janice said that “‘My Kind Of Woman’ is an anthem that celebrates women of all shapes and sizes. It all comes down to being the woman you want to be. Dare to put yourself out there, thrive, and believe in your own strength. Don’t let others define you“.

She added about her work on The Playlist, saying, “Being a member of The Playlist’s main cast is a complete dream come true! I’m so glad I got to play Bobbie T, a character with whom I really connected. Along with a stellar cast of actors, the film is directed by Per-Olav Srensen. I am beyond thrilled for the premiere of this series“.
