The Minnesota-born artist, now based in Tulsa, Casii Stephan, delights us with the release of her latest single titled “Can’t Handle Me.”
“Can’t Handle Me,” a gem of funk pop-rock infused with soul, was produced by Ben Tanner, renowned for his work with groups like Alabama Shakes and St. Paul and the Broken Bones. Casii Stephan, whose emotionally rich voice draws comparisons to alternative artists like Florence Welch and Fiona Apple, has proven to be a talented songwriter. NPR describes her songwriting as reminiscent of Carole King.
Despite her initial shyness about her voice, she began writing songs on the family piano at the age of 16.
