Will Smith is going to play a conman accused of murder in the crime drama Bounty written by Sascha Penn and recently picked up by Paramount Pictures. In comparison, it sounds a bit like The Fugitive. Will Smith’s character Nicky, has to break free from jail to prove his innocence, meanwhile the victim’s widow has put a $10 million bounty on his head, dead or alive. Paramount won a bidding war for the script, which carries Smith’s involvement as potential leading man and producer via his Overbrook Entertainment company. In other Will Smith news, the veteran actor has also revealed that he is interested in playing a complex enemy in future roles, something of an anti-hero would take his fancy.
