Rapper Kanye West has announced the title to his seventh studio album – So Help Me God – along with unveiling the artwork for the highly anticipated album. The 37 year-old tweeted the news alongside a picture of the album’s artwork. During a recent interview on US radio show The Breakfast Club, West said about the record, “[It’s gonna be] bars, songs, cookout music that just feels good, my last album [2013’s ‘Yeezus’] was a protest to music, I was like ‘I’m gonna take my ball and go home’… This album is embracing the music, joy. Being of service to the people. I just hope people like it and enjoy it“.
Track expected to be on the forthcoming album include “Wolves” featuring Sia, his recent collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney “Only One”, and “All Day” which he premiered at this year’s BRIT Awards. Kanye also mentioned on The Breakfast Show, the origin of the track “Wolves” saying that, “the song [‘Wolves’] came from a conversation me and Drake had where we were supposed to do an album together – it was supposed to be called Wolves… we said we was gonna do it, he was sending beats back and forth“.
