Legendary hip hop group De La Soul have launched a Kickstarter campaign to help fund their new album, which will be the eighth LP from the veteran Long Island group. The new album, which they will begin to record next month, is set to feature guest appearances from the eclectic likes of Damon Albarn, Little Dragon, David Byrne and 2 Chainz. The group are looking to raise $110,000, and with over $150,000 already pledged by over 2000 backers, it looks like De La Soul are set to create a phenomenal album for the people.
