P Diddy – real name Sean Combs – was arrested yesterday, and is now on bail over an altercation with a ULCA coach at a college campus in Los Angeles. Diddy has been charged with the assault with a deadly weapon. It is understood that Diddy was carrying a kettlebell while having a confrontation with the UCLA football coach. No one was seriously injured in the assault.
TMZ reported that Diddy was watching his son Justin play for the UCLA football team at the Acosta Athletic Training Complex on Monday (June 22), before the altercation occurred. UCLA football coach Jim Mora said in a statement: “I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time“. P Diddy’s representatives are yet to comment on the situation.
