The Simpsons fans can sigh a breath of relief, Harry Shearer aka Mr. Burns aka Smithers aka Rev Lovejoy, aka Lenny (okay you get the point); is coming back to The Simpsons. Shearer signed a new four season deal, alongside fellow cast mates Dan Castellaneta, Yeardley Smith, Julie Kavner, Nancy Cartwright and Hank Azaria for a rumoured $300,000 an episode, and will be back taking on the voices that we know and love in the 27th season of the animated comedy.
Back in May of this year, it was really touch and go for the show when Shearer announced that he had quit the show, many feared what would happen to iconic characters such as Mr Burns and Ned Flanders, but with the announcement of his return, all is now well in the world.
