As Kenan Thompson rises within his career on Saturday Night Live, many have wondered what happened to his 90’s side kick, Kel Mitchell. Do you remember when there were those rumours that he was dead? Well the man is very much alive and in fact has just signed up to star in a new Dan Schneider produced show Game Shakers. Mitchell stars as a rap star who goes by the name of Double G who starts a multi million pound gaming company with two 12 year old’s.
It’s no Kenan And Kel, but at least Kel is putting himself back out there. I would love to sit down in a room and pick Dan Schenider’s brains, that man is a kids TV magician! From shows such as The Amanda Show, to iCarly to Drake and Josh to Victorious, you’ve watched at least one of his shows in your childhood. The man is a genius and has helped launch the careers of many young stars *Ariana Grande cough cough*. I’ve got my hands crossed tightly behind my back for a reunion.
