Wow time flies. It’s been seven years since supergroup The Last Of The Shadow Puppets, consisting of modern day connoisseurs of Indie Rock, Alex Turner and Miles Kane, released their debut album The Age of the Understatement. I was starting to believe Kane‘s comments all the way back in 2012 was giving us all false hope suggesting that he will reunite with the Arctic Monkeys singer to record again as The Last Shadow Puppets.
He vaguely stated they will rise once more “when the time is right“. However, multi-talented Canadian composer, violinist, and vocalist Owen Pallett, who has performed with the likes of Arcade Fire, Beirut and The Last Of The Shadow Puppets as well as releasing his own solo material, has dropped a hint that something new is brewing in a now deleted tweet. Nothing has been official confirmed as of yet, but take a look at this tweet to help make your own minds up.
By the way, if you’re not the sharpest tool in the shed #tlsp stands for The Last Of The Shadow Puppets. You’re welcome.
