The Los Angeles veterans are back next Monday (October 26) with the release of single “Thank God For Girls”. Whether or not this will be the lone single or the beginning of the lead up to a new album, we just don’t know. Judging by their track record of releasing albums in quick succession (2008’s Red Album, 2009’s Raditude and 2010’s Hurley), it would not be a surprise if these rockers were already at it again, only one year after the release of their LP Everything Will Be Alright In The End.
Despite not embarking on a full tour for their last record, Weezer have allegedly already performed their new single twice on iHeartRadio possessing the lyrics: “Girl at the pastry shop/ With the net in the hair/ Is making up an order for you to take/ On your hiking trip in the woods with your boys“. According to their short Twitter gif featuring Miss Piggy, “Thank God For Girls” is due out on October 26.
