It has recently been announced that John August, writer of Big Fish, turned in a script for the adaptation of Disney’s infamous Twilight Zone themed ride The Tower of Terror. Asides from an ill-fated Steve Guttenberg-starring TV movie back in 1997, this will be the first time that the ride has been committed to screen. Surprisingly, it is only the third Disney ride to receive this treatment, after The Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Little is known yet about the film, but watch this space.
