Bill Murray has teamed up with Phoenix for a new Christmas single called “Alone On Christmas Day”.
Pitchfork has reported that the single is due for release on December 4 which will coincide with the christmas special release that Murray is doing with Netflix called “A Very Murray Christmas” which features the likes of George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Miley Cyrus, Chris Rock and more. You can see the trailer for the show below.
The song will be released on 7-inch viny and will feature Murray performing with Phoenix, Jason Schwartzman, former Letterman musical director Paul Shaffer, and New York Dolls’ David Johansen under his Buster Poindexter alias.
