Josh Hutcherson has been added to James Franco‘s latest venture, The Disaster Artist. This will be the third time that the two have teamed up, with the duo previously working together on In Dubious Battle and The Long Home. Do we see a collaborative team emerging here?
Franco is set to direct and star in The Disaster Artist, which chronicles the infamous Tommy Wiseau‘s plans to create the iconic unintentional comedy film The Room. With Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber penning the script adapted from The Room actor Greg Sestero‘s book The Disaster Artist: My Life Inside The Room – which tells of Sestero’s experiences working on the film.
Whilst James Franco is to play Wiseau, his younger brother Dave Franco is attached to star as Sestero, and newly added Hutcherson will be Philip Haldiman, who played Denny in the film.
Shooting for the film is due to begin this week, and we can’t wait to see the results.
