2016 is here, which means that the year of the superhero has commenced. It also means that, that X-men reunion is within reach. As a farewell to 2015 and a welcome to the New Year, Olivia Munn treated us to a new behind-the-scenes glimpse of her character Psylocke in action. What better way to start the New Year than with an epic pic of a kick-ass lady?
Psylocke is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse recruited by Oscar Isaac’s baddie to assist in bringing about despair and global destruction. She sounds extremely fierce, so think twice before messing with her. Listen to this: “She’s a telekinetic telepath who chooses to kill with a sword because she wants to do it up close and intimate and killing from afar just seems too easy and no fun”.
We’ll once again find Bryan Singer behind the lens, making it his fourth X-Men film. The film stars X-Men veterans James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Evan Peters and Rose Byrne along with newcomers Oscar Isaac, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Ben Hardy and Olivia Munn. X-Men: Apocalypse is due for release on May 27, 2016.
