British actress Emily Blunt, last seen in the 2015 action thriller Sicario, has been added to the voice cast of My Little Pony: The Movie. The upcoming animated feature, based on the highly popular children’s pony toys, will follow the ponies on a journey to save their home, Ponyville, from a terrifying force.
Blunt will reportedly provide her voice to a newly created character for the film and is also set to be joined by Glee actress Kristen Chenoweth. My Little Pony: The Movie, is set to be directed by Jayson Theissen who was also the executive producer for the My Little Pony TV series. The film is scheduled for release in November 2017.
