Bad omens ring when the chickens come home to roost, Batman v Superman: A Dawn of Justice’s bad word of mouth beginning to catch up with it as the profits of the superhero smack down which both critics and fans have called ‘joyless’ is set to plummet 70 percent in its second weekend, shedding $120 million on its initial $170 million to languish at $50 million.

The film will easily remain number one in the charts, such drops common for fan-driven films; The Twilight Saga: New Moon falling a similar amount in its’ second weekend.
