Some actors seem to be made for the ‘bad boys’ role. Zach McGowan, for example, who played Roan in The 100 or Anton Ivanov in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. seems to be that type of person. He’s now joined the cast of the so far untitled Bad Boys spinoff as the villain, of course. He will star alongside Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.
He will play the nightclub owner Ray Sherman who has a violent accounter with Unions character as she is searching for a criminal that probably does the dirty work for him.
The spinoff will focus on Unions character from Bad Boys II, Sydney “Syd” Burnett. She is part of the police department in Los Angeles. She is partnered up with Nancy McKenna portrayed by Jessica Alba. These women couldn’t have a more different lifestyle but they have to overcome the differences to become the team they need to be.
At the moment they are shooting the pilot but a release date is yet to be announced.
