Adam Lambert may’ve come runner up in 2009’s American Idol, but he’s come out on top as the show’s highest earner of 2015, in a new poll compiled by Forbes. Lambert beat other American Idol alumni such as Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood – but how did he do it? Well, although no-one can replace Freddy Mercury, Lambert was handpicked to front legendary band Queen for 2 London shows in 2012, and the rest, as they say, is musical history. Hard-working Lambert raked in $10million last year alone, off the back of an arena tour with the band.
