Tonight is the night. The night Leonardo DiCaprio finally walks away with his first and long overdue Oscar statuette. It has to happen, it will happen. People have been saying that it’s Leo’s year for months, and the whole world is rooting for him. Especially his long time BFF/homegirl Kate Winslet.
Leo can now add Adele to his long list of devoted supporters. The Oscar winner, Titanic superfan and all-around delightful human person took to Twitter to wish Leo luck. Because just like the rest of our hearts, hers will go on, always. “Good luck Leo!” She wrote. “Everyone loves you because you’re the best. Meet me at the clock anytime bruv”.
Leo is, as you all know (if you don’t know, where have you been for the past three to four months?), up for Best Actor for his emotionally intense and transformative turn in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s visually mesmerising The Revenant. Adele won her first Oscar back in 2013 for Skyfall.
