After eight years, the incomparable, entertainment icon of South Africa and Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, returns to Afrikafest 2016, for one night only, to perform live with her full band from South Africa, featuring music from her early career through to her current hits.
Afrikafest is set to take place on Saturday, November 19, at the Copper Box Arena, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. Now in its third year, aims to be the biggest east, central, and South African community music comedy event in Europe.
It is an all inclusive, purely social-cultural festival designed to promote, support, showcase, and celebrate Africa’s talent. This show will also feature Africa’s top comedy queen, Anne Kansiime, from Uganda, and young Nigerian comedian, Emmanuella, accompanied by Mark Angel and Uncle Denilson (“This is not my real face”) who will perform live.
