New York-based Nigerian American producer and musician King Lekan will soon release his debut EP No Time with the included lead single “Give You All”. He produced the song alongside MOBO Award-nominated UK musician Moelogo and collaborated with more exciting artist for the EP.
King Lekan is still at the very beginning of his promising career but is well connected to the global acrobats scene including Moelogo, Billboard supported world music collective The.WAV, rapper-singer Mojeed and recent American-Nigerian singer-songwriter BemiSoul.
King Lekan started his musical journey as part of alternative hip hop trio OMG and launched his own production company The Music Geekz. Now the artist who already performed at Coachella, BET Music Matters and The Late Late Show extends on his personal music career.
His debut EP No Time will range between afropop sound, soulful vocals and smooth afro R&B. The full sound is underpinned by superb compositions and live instrumental arrangements. With the EP Lekan wants to show the world his skills as frontline artist, songwriter and producer.
