The legendary, albeit fictitious, personality that is Alan Partridge (portrayed by Steve Coogan), is set to deliver a TFI Friday Christmas special, in place of the show’s usual host – Chris Evans. Looks like our favourite North Norfolk DJ will be chatting with guests including the likes of: Sir Tom Jones, James Corden and Jack Whitehall, as well as musical appearances throughout the night.
According to reports, usual host, Evans, is more than happy to see Partridge take over for the night, claiming “it’ll be a relief to see how it should be done by Norfolk’s master of broadcasting”. It’s certainly shaping up to be a night worth adding to the what-to-watch list this Christmas. The TFI Friday Christmas special will air on Channel 4, December 18, 7.30pm.
