The latest addition in the 007 franchise, Spectre, sees the return of Skyfall director Sam Mendes and stars Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny and, of course, Daniel Craig as James Bond. They will be joined by Bond love-interests Lea Seydoux as Madeleine, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra. Christoph Waltz also stars Franz Oberhauser and, if the trailer is anything to go by, he will be one of the most exciting Bond villains we have seen in a long time!
Spectre takes Bond on a rogue mission to Mexico City and into the streets of Rome after a cryptic message emerges from the past. After infiltrating a secret meeting, Bond uncovers a sinister organisation known as SPECTRE and finds a disturbing connection between himself and his nemesis, Franz Oberhauser. Filming took place in Mexico, Italy, Morocco, Austria and England’s Pinewood Studios and will include a chase scene through Rome. Bond will also be kitted out with a brand new Aston Martin complete with “a few more gadgets than last time” as Ben Whishaw has indicated.
For those who have seen the trailer (and what Bond fan hasn’t by now?) Spectre looks like it will be another epic to join the long list of beloved James Bond films. Spectre will premiere in London on the 26th of October. Revisit the trailer here.
