Amal Clooney and Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge are both practically fashion royalty but one pips the other when it comes to being crowned this year’s winner. The Duchess has become a natural choice for any British retailer and whenever she wears a garment from anywhere, it is instantly snapped up and sold out. It’s not surprising then that she has a large following with her classic and elegant look which accentuate her appeal as a British aristocrat.
However, the crown truly belongs to Amal Clooney whose looks have instantly gained approval from fashion gurus and the general public alike. Her style is always current and never too much. It’s no surprise, given that she was wedded to one of Hollywood’s A-List celebrities – it must be a tough act to follow, but she makes it look so easy. We think that Amal has a lot more star appeal and is a little more daring with her choice of wardrobe.
2014 has certainly been a good year for Amal marrying George Clooney and certainly hasn’t been a bad one for the Duchess either. We’ll have to wait ad see whether the Duchess experiments a little more next year and can give Amal a run for her money.
