American Journal Of Physics Wants ‘Interstellar’ To Be Taught In Physics Classes | Film News

 

According to the American Journal of Physics; the Oscar Award winning graphics of wormhole in the 2014 film Interstellar, could be a useful teaching tool for the theory of relativity. Interstellar is the first Hollywood movie, to take a scientific approach towards the realistic portrayal of wormholes and black holes in space. ‘Visualising Interstellar’s Wormhole’, which was published in this month’s issue of the journal, claims that Interstellar was “an opportunity to create images of wormholes and black holes for relativity and astrophysics research“.
