Amy Winehouse Hologram Tour Sparks Major Controversy | Music News

The late Jazz vocalist Amy Winehouse will return to stage via hologram, but it has sparked controversy among her ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who believes the tour to be a form of exploitation.

Amy’s father insist all the proceeds will go to drugs and alcohol education, as well as women’s recovery house and music programmes.

Blake says that “The actual hologram, to me, it’s no different than watching a video clip, maybe, or listening to her album. If anyone wants to see Amy onstage, that opportunity has been gone.” But to those of us who weren’t fortunate enough to see the star live in concert, it could be a great opportunity to experience an as-close-to-real-life Amy as possible.

As for her fans, twitter users seem to have denounced Fielder-Civil’s comments on Good Morning Britain, implying that he also exploited Winehouse in her prime.

Many of the comments also allude to his dental care and shocking appearance, no doubt from abuse of drugs and alcohol.
