Anderson .Paak released his second album Malibu back in January, but it’s undoubtedly already one of the albums of the year. The way the latest signee to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath label wraps together hip hop, R&B, and soul is special, and that blend truly awakens and colours the imagination, as enriching as the sun is in his native California.
.Paak’s now dropped the first set of visuals for Malibu, for two tracks off the album, The Season/Carry Me and The Waters, and it’s every much as unique and vibrant as his sound is. This is what it looks like when you let your imagination run wild and go along for the ride.
