As production for the female-lead reboot of the 1984 classic Ghostbusters is well under way, director Paul Feig has collected some more treasures for his creation. Andy Garcia (The Godfather: Part III, Ocean’s Twelve), Matt Walsh (Ted, The Hangover) and Michael Kenneth Williams (The Wire, Boardwalk Empire) are all set to appear in the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot.
Garcia is set to play the Mayor of the city, who follows the Ghostbusters tradition of ignoring warning signs of spooks until he needs help. Walsh is to play a character named Rourke, of which we have no further news on what this character entails. Williams’ character is also a mystery, but it has been reported by The Wrap that he may play someone named Hawkins. Feig is still currently shooting in Boston, with the film set for a July 2016 release.
