Quiet Quiet Band are “the rotting fruits in nu-folk’s verdant pastures”. Lead vocalist, Tom Purcell, says, “Our songs often evoke fictional characters who are reflecting on their own flaws, regrets, losses and mistakes”. Others members are Paul Smith-Jones (guitar/vocals), Scott Painter (bass), Jon Hare-Winton (drums) and Devon Gillespie (viola).
Furthermore, a new EP, Come Home From The War, recorded by Sam Wheat at RekRoom Studios, is due for release Friday, November 4. This comes with an EP launch sandwiched between two live dates. Below is the tracklisting for said EP; aswell as those three dates, including the launch itself.
