English singer/songwriter Anne-Marie, who gained popularity in 2015 collaborating with Rudimental and Will Heard on “Rumour Mill”, has unveiled her brand new video.
Having released her first EP titled Karate in 2015 with two singles “Karate” and “Geminis”, she went on to release her first single “Alarm” from her debut album titled Speak Your Mind the following year and collaborated with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul on their song “Rockabye”.
2017 saw a string of releases including “Ciao Adios” with music video shot in Marrakech as well as “Heavy”, “Then” and “Friends”, all featuring on Speak Your Mind.
Now, she released her sixth single titled “2002”, a love ballad about a childhood romance of hers that took place in the titular year. The song was written by herself, Ed Sheeran, Benny Blanco, Julia Michaels and Steve Mac.
The music video has references of six popular songs from the late 1990s and 2000s: “…Baby One More Time”, “99 Problems”, “Bye Bye Bye”, “The Next Episode”, “Ride Wit Me” and “Oops!… I Did It Again”.
