I can’t believe it, I’m still listening to “Good Girl” on repeat, I wasn’t prepared for yet another Aquilo track to distract me from all other music releases! Don’t get me wrong, I am certainly not complaining as this new single, “Never Seen You Get So Low” just reinforces the promise that these two lads who specialise in melancholy numbers will go so far.
Be prepared to have your heartstrings plucked as Aquilo take you on an emotional yet chilled journey to the stars. With EP after EP screaming ‘potential’, this latest mesmerising single is just a taster of what’s coming around the corner on the duo’s upcoming album, due for release next year. The duo, consisting of Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher have been working with the likes of SOHN and Olafur Arnalds to polish their incredibly beautiful and unique sound.
