Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding are among artists nominated for BBC Music Award’s Song of the Year. Sheeran’s “Bloodstream” and Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” are front runners among a list of ten nominations, all of which were huge hits in 2015.
There are five awards at the event this year which takes part in Birmingham on Thursday, and Song of the Year is the only one where the public decides who wins. The ten nominations represent the ten most played tracks on BBC radio and TV in 2015, including monster hits such as “Lean On”, “Uptown Funk” and “Cheerleader”.
