Hotly tipped, upcoming Afro/R&B export Atueyii releases his debut single titled “Hold On“, premiering exclusively on DJ Neptizzle’s Ultimate Afrobeats Show on Rinse FM.
His sound? Its a melting pot of his cultural upbringing; the duality of being born in the megacity of Lagos and raised on the concrete streets of Tottenham, North London. Atueyii always had an eclectic ear for music, the roots of his inspiration come from big names in music including Fela Kuti, Lucky Dube, Chaka Chaka, Flavour, Wizkid and Akon.
This latest cut definitely does not disappoint. It’s a real flavourful vibe that we’ve come to expect but backed by Atueyii’s smooth R&B vocals that playful ride along with the production it turns into a sweet song for his respective lover. Not to mention the fact that the video emphasises this as we find our Afro/R&B crooner serenading his woman who’s doing her fair share of seducing.
