Surf rock band Rum Jungle is set to become one of Australia’s go-to sun-soaked bands and has released a new single “Everything Is Easy”. They float pop melodies atop psych guitars and relaxed groove beats in a combination of surf rock and alt-pop.
Speaking about the track, lead singer Benny says, “Everything Is Easy is a euphoric feel-good track that celebrates taking it easy and just cruising. We can all get caught up thinking there are places we should be and things we should be doing, and Everything Is Easy is about taking a step back, remembering to relax, and having a good time rather than getting caught up in that kind of headspace”.
With the release of their first two EPs, Crazy Days and Sun & Smoke, the band have developed a devoted fan base and have already played with Australia’s finest exports including Lime Cordiale, Peking Duk, and Hilltop Hoods
The band Rum Jungle have established itself in the touring circuit, having sold-out shows all along the east coast. They were a part of the lineups of THIS THAT Festival and Rolling Sets Festival before the global pandemic.
Recently, Rum Jungle, Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers, Citizen Kay, and Apricot Ink performed at Front Yard Fest in Canberra. Furthermore, they will be appearing at Maitland’s Groovin The Moo 2022 and VANFEST in Forbes, NSW in April.
