Austrian Indie Riser OSKA Unveils Enchanting New Single ‘Like A Song’

Rising indie-pop singer/songwriter OSKA returns with her latest single “Like A Song” offering fans a glimpse into her highly anticipated sophomore full-length album due out later this year. The track showcases OSKA’s evocative songwriting and enchanting melodies as she explores themes of clarity and security emerging from a period of turbulence and discomfort.

I’m describing feeling safe, sure, and light again in what feels like forever – light as a feather, as a child, just like a song,” explains OSKA, providing insight into the inspiration behind the track. “Like A Song” is available across digital stores since March 8th.

Based in Vienna, OSKA is set to make her U.S. debut this week at The New Colossus Festival in New York City, followed by appearances at SXSW in Austin and the New New Fest in Dallas. She will then return to Europe for headline shows, festival appearances, and four special nights opening for Coldplay in her hometown alongside Maggie Rogers this summer.

OSKA’s debut album, My World, My Love, Paris released in 2022, features 12 tracks weaving tales of family life and the experiences of growing up. With candid lyricism and tender melodies, OSKA’s authentic self shines through, garnering over 20 million Spotify streams and accolades from various media outlets.

Growing up in a small village in Lower Austria, OSKA moved to Vienna at 18 to pursue her passion for music. She began busking in the streets while studying pop and jazz singing.

Signed to Nettwerk in 2020, she released her debut EP “Honeymoon Phase” receiving critical acclaim and winning awards such as the XA Music Export Award at Waves Vienna Festival 2020 and the Amadeus Austrian Music Award for “Best Sound” in 2022.
