Awesomeness Films Release New Trailer For Bloody Book Adaption ‘Spontaneous’ | Film Trailer

 

Production company Awesomeness Films has released the first trailer for its upcoming teen comedy Spontaneous and offers a first insight into the satirical coming-of-age movie with Katherine Langford and Charlie Plummer in the main roles.

 

Katherine Langford plays the high school student Mara Carlyle who finds her classmates literally exploding for no reason. She and her friends have to deal with the bizarre situation of uncertainty where students inexplicably explode, leaving bits of blood, brain and bone all over the place.

 

The adaption of Aaron Starmer’s YA novel of the same name is written and directed by Brian Duttfield who thereby marks his feature directorial debut. Duttfield produced the coming-of-age comedy with Matt Kaplan, Jordan Levin and his Jurassic Party partner Nicki Cortese.

 

The cast consists of Insecure star Yvonne Orji, who plays a governmental investigator for the incidents. Furthermore Piper Perabo and Rob Huebel co-star in the bloody teen movie.

 

Spontaneous will be released in select theatres on October 2, followed by video on demand on October 6 – distributed by Paramount Pictures.
