Montreal-based production duo Banx & Ranx are back! This time they deliver their fresh new summer anthem “Speaker” featuring artists Olivia Holt and ZieZie.
Showcasing a high octane explosion of funk grooves, electro energy, and island rhythms, “Speaker” serves as a melting pot of genres. It’s been masterfully crafted by the pair, who are acknowledged as pioneers of the ‘Electro Caribbean Music’ movement. The future hit is topped by the vocals of singer/actress Olivia Holt and also fast-rising UK rap sensation ZieZie.
Speaking on the collaborations on the new single, Banx & Ranx explain: “It feels good to unite with an American and a UK Artist on a song, feels like we created a bridge between the US, Canada and the UK.”
Since 2017, the pair have made official remixes for the likes of Gorillaz, Jess Glynne, Khalid and Little Mix. Not stopping there, the duo also worked on tracks for the likes of Dua Lipa, Jonas Blue and Olly Murs.
“Speaker” follows the duo’s massive 2018 hit “Answerphone” with Ella Eyre and Yxng Bane which hit the Top 5 in the charts and is platinum-certified. Amassing over 200 million streams to date, Banx & Ranx continue their meteoric rise with their unique sound of summer.
