Hungarian model Barbara Palvin, 25, is joining the Victoria’s Secret family as the brand’s newest Angel. “I’ve been keeping this a secret for three months,” The model confessed. This is the first time that a Hungarian model has been given the title.
She first walked for the lingerie brand in 2012 and has featured in multiple campaigns since, making her catwalk return in the 2018 VS show in New York. She said this is her “ultimate career high” and announced the news on her Instagram page.

“When I was 13, I saw the VS Fashion Show and said, ‘One day I will get there. Three or four years later, I shot with Victoria’s Secret PINK for the first time,” Palvin says. “Now, I feel like I was destined to do this. Victoria’s Secret caught me at the perfect time, because I’m finally happy with myself and my body.”

In the last two years, the lingerie giant has lost two of their longtime Angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio. Now, Palvin is joining the ranks alongside Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Elsa Hosk, Josephine Skriver, Jasmine Tookes, Taylor Hill, Stella Maxwell, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio and Lily Aldridge
