Being Mary Jane, starring Gabrielle Union, is coming back onto our television screens as of February 2015. The highly anticipated second season, mostly requested from the viewers, is set to premiere with a brand new 12 episodes nexy year. The show came about after a hour and a half length movie was created and premiered in the summer of 2012 on BET, with over 4 million viewers, breaking viewing records. This new second season comes off the success of its first season premiering January of 2013.
The drama follows a highly successful, work driven black female through her life and her struggling love life. This new season focuses on her beau David who plays her love interest, played by Stephen Bishop. Mara Brock Akil, who also produced Girlfriends and The Game and her team have definitely cooked up something superb for all Being Mary Jane fans, be sure to catch the show on BET, coming this February!
