Belle and Sebastian – This Letter | Music Video

Scottish Folk rock/Indie pop veteran band Belle and Sebastian are back with tender new visuals for one of their latest tracks titled “This Letter”.

A year ago, it was announced that the 90’s group would be the ones in charge to provide the music for the upcoming alternative film Days of the Bagnold Summer. The soundtrack was revealed just two weeks ago and now they have surprised their fans once again with a fresh new video for one of the album’s tracks.

Directed by the frontman Stuart Murdoch, the visuals for “This Letter” feature members of the Glasgow band Wet Look and it was recorded a few days after their festival on a cruise ship.

“After the Boaty Weekender I got the chance to make another video. With limited time, I called upon 3/4 of boat mates Wet Look to help me out,” Murdoch unveiled about the new material.

“They play three tired film crew people, who just made a Belle and Sebastian video – but they quite fancy having a go at filming themselves, so they get hold of Super 8 cameras, and start messing about.”

The new clip follows their previous video for “Sister Buddha”, the first single of the soundtrack album. Then they shared the second one, “This Letter”, which is now provided with this new footage in which Belle and Sebastian reflect on a relationship from the past. The video starts with a shot of the band members recording the video before moving on to an image of Wet Look’s members working bts.
