One week ahead of its release, Glaswegian band Belle & Sebastian’s new album Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance is available to stream online, via NPR. Five years since the release of their last album Write About Love, Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance makes for the band’s ninth album spanning a career of two decades. The indie-pop band has been experimenting with synth sounds, which we already noticed in their single “The Party Line”, but other tracks prove the album to be a danceable and lively one – hence its title. Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance will be out on January 19 via Matador, ahead of a UK nationwide tour starting on May 3, detailed dates below. You still can pre-order the album here.
