Ben Affleck’s Batman may be getting his own solo movie in 2018, titled The Batman. Latino Review have reported that Affleck is set to both star in and direct the caped crusader’s latest adventure, and his Argo screen writer Chris Terrio will be penning the script. It’s believed that Warner Brothers is targeting a November 2018 release date for The Batman. To compete against Marvel’s female-led superhero movie Captain Marvel.
For those who can’t wait until 2018 though, it’s going to be a busy few years for Gotham’s dark knight – he’s debuting in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) before battling The Joker once more in Suicide Squad (2016) and finally teaming up with the DCU’s other heroes in Justice League Part One (2017).
