Pop-folk star Ben Howard has recently shared his brand new single titled “Sorry Kid” that will feature on his fourth upcoming album entitled Collections From The Whiteout.
Ben Howard is a British singer, songwriter and composer who started his career with the self-released debut EP Games In The Dark followed by two more EPs These Waters in 2009 and Old Pine in 2010, followed by his debut album Every Kingdom in 2011.
His second LP I Forget Where We Were, which was released in 2014 became his first number one album, and now his fourth LP Collections From The Whiteout is about to be released on March 26.
The brand new single “Sorry Kid” follows the previously released “What A Day” and “Follies Fixture” as the final preview of Howard’s album. Reportedly, the latest track is inspired by the story of Anna Sorokina, the German woman born in Russia and known for fraud scandals under her nickname Anna Delvey and later convicted for the fraud-related crimes in America.
Ben says that he has quite a number of songs on the Collections From The Whiteout based on the stories he came across in the news. This helped the singer to expand his creativity, add fresh perspective to his lyricism and explore the worlds of those narratives
The long-awaited upcoming album is co-produced with The National’s Aaron Dessner and features works from Big Thief, Yussef Dayes, Rob Moose and This Is The Kit.
