Beyoncé And Billie Eilish Confirmed To Perform At 2022 Oscar Awards

Since the start of the week, the rumor mill about who will be performing at the 94th Academy Awards have been gone wild.

Beyoncé and Billie Eilish have been officially announced as performers for the ceremony which will take place on Sunday, March 27 in Hollywood.

Beyoncé is nominated for the Best Original Song with “Be Alive“, co-written with Dixson for the King Richard movie featuring worldwide actor Will Smith, and as speculated, she will perform the song for the ceremony from a tennis court in Compton, California.

The setting is significant to the movie because it is widely known as the place where the sports stars Venus and Serena William trained during their youths while being supervised by their father Richard, for whom the aforementioned film is about.

Billie Eilish will take the stage with a performance of the James Bond theme song “No Time to Die” along her brother Finneas.

This year, Beyoncé and Billie Eillish are both contesting for their first Academy Award, with both being nominated for the ‘Best Original Song’.

They join Sebastián Yatra, who will perform the Encanto song “Dos Oruguitas” and Reba McEntire, who will also take stage with the performance of the Four Good Days movie theme song “Somehow You Do” as nominees.

Also nominated in the category for “Down to Joy“, Van Morrison was reached to perform but because to a tight schedule, with the artist being in tour, he will not attend the show.
