Black Foxxes – I’m Not Well | Music Video

In light of Radio 1’s Big Weekend taking place in the county of Devon this weekend, it’s no wonder this trio have a huge buzz around them. Black Foxxes from Exeter fame, made up of Mark Holley offering killer lead vocals and guitar, Ant Thornton giving us a heavy sound behind the kit and Tristan Jane providing the bass, these boys have a classic rock feel that will go down in history.

Fresh off their UK support tour with Nothing But Thieves, the sold-out run with Milk Teeth and the blistering show at The Great Escape, they have only gone and recorded a debut album. Snapped up by the likes of Daniel P. Carter spinning on Radio 1, and Beats1 its only a matter of time before Black Foxxes (or Flat Boxxes , as they sometimes hide behind) become a household name.

The first track off the highly anticipated debut I’m Not Well only sets the bar even higher and raises that anticipation. Its a little unusual to release this sound running up to the album, as it takes a while to drop, however it has a clear classic rock-esk feel when it finally does and boy does it deliver. This is definitely a band to watch out for, and if your at Big Weekend be sure to catch them on the BBC Introducing stage Sunday 29th at 6pm. If not, they are returning to Reading and Leeds to play the NME stage. Yes you ‘eard.
