To Americans, it is the unofficial holiday in which two of the year’s leading football teams clash to win the prized NFL Championship. For us here in the UK however, the Superbowl is an opportunity to get few laughs from some of the most creative ads ever produced, as well as see exclusive previews of upcoming films for the year.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, FOX will carry a significant presence during the game’s commercial breaks and will feature exclusive trailers for Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse and Independence Day: Resurgence. Disney will also follow through this trend during the Pregame Show, with Finding Dory, Captain America, and Star Wars: Rogue One being only a few of its highly anticipated titles. Other big production companies have also been reported as having bought time for advertisements, such as Warner Bros. for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
So many films to look forward for, and if you’re also interested, such a big game to look forward to as well. here’s to hoping for a really awesome Rogue One preview!
