‘Bones And All’ Reunites Thimothée Chalamet With The Director That Made Him Famous

Festivals. Festivals. Festivals. The season is finally coming, and along with the Toronto International Film Festival, another unmissable show is going to set on fire our September: the Venice Film Festival.

As with Toronto, the Italian city is also expecting to host the best of the industry, and fans are already losing their minds for the global premiere of Bones And All, mainly because of Mr. Thimothée Chalamet.

The 26-years old American actor, whose huge talent keeps impressing critics and audiences, has gained the leading role in the picture, adding Bones and All to his amazing list of works, which includes Dune, Don’t Look Up, Interstellar, and The French Dispatch.

Of course, though, Bones aAd All is a particularly special movie for Chalamet, because it marks the return of the young star with the director who made him famous all around the globe, Luca Guadagnino.

In 2017, the duo worked together on Call Me By Your Name, a romantic love story that brought both the American actor and the Italian director to reach their first Academy Award nomination, for best leading actor and director respectively.

The very talked-about plot of Bones And All reminds us a little of Call Me By Your Name because of a more unconventional approach to love stories. If in 2017 Guadagnino chose to represent the love between two young men, now he brings to the screen the one between two marginalized people.

The movie is based on the novel by Camille DeAngelis and the first look at its teaser has been granted by Chalamet himself, who shared it on his Twitter account. Bones and All follows the story of a homeless guy, Lee (Chalamet), and a young girl who lives on the margins of society, Maren (Taylor Russel), while they road trip across the US.
